The Nigerian Labour Congress has agreed to the Federal Government’s plans to address lingering security issues and says it will consider putting off their planned protests after meeting with its expanded body
The decision was reached after a meeting convened by the Chairman of the Progressives Governors Forum Hope Uzodimma who led the NLC leaders to President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday night.
At the resumption of the meeting on Wednesday, both Governor Hope Uzodimma and NLC President Joe Ajaero briefed on the outcome and the pledges made.
Uzodimma assured that both government and labour are on the same page as regards the president’s programmes to better secure Nigeria.
Ajaero promised to take back the issues and resolutions reached back to his members.
