Nigeria’s Minister of Works, David Umahi, says though government has right of way, compensations will be paid to property owners affected by construction of the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.
He said this will however be after.a one-on-one engagement will be held in the next 30 days from Wednesday next week with the affected property owners.
Umahi who disclosed this in Lagos Thursday during a stakeholders engagement, said, the proposed compensations would be made in 72 hours during the one-on-one engagement being planned to hold in the next 30 days with persons affected by the project.
