Five persons have been confirmed dead from Thursday’s night gas explosion at Opic plaza located at Mobolaji Bank Anthony way ikeja Lagos.
Speaking to AIT during an on-the-spot assessment of the incident, Southwest Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) Ibrahim Farinloye and the Commissioner for Special Duties in Lagos, Tayo Bamgbose-Martins said confirmed the death toll; adding that investigation is ongoing to ascertain the remote and immediate cause of the incident which left eleven other victims badly injured.
