The Lagos State Police Command, Wednesday impounded two hundred and fifty seven motorcycles in Ikorodu, Ogolonto and Agege axis of the state.
Following the directives of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos state, operatives of the rapid response squad led by its commander, Olayinka Egbeyemi alongside the Lagos state neighborhood safety agency carried out the operation first in Ikorodu roundabout and Ogolonto before moving to Agege.
The commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Adegoke Fayoade, who commended the team, reiterated that the exercise would be a continuous one till motorcycle operators comply with the Lagos state revised traffic law 2018.
