The ousted speaker, Lagos state House of Assembly,Mudasiru Obasa has returned to the Assembly complex after his removal from office by his colleagues on January 13th 2025 over alleged misappropriation of funds among others.
Obasa who was accompanied by security agents,was said to have immediately headed to the speaker’s office.

This is the first time the Agege lawmaker will be seen at the assembly’s complex since he was ousted in January.
Meanwhile,Segun Ajiboye,the chief press secretary to Mojisola Miranda who assumed the position of speaker of the Lagos state house of assembly who confirmed the development says the security details attached to Meranda were withdrawn ,accusing Obasa and his team of allegedly breaking into the house.
