Resident Doctors in Lagos state on Monday joined their counterpart across the federation for a seven-day warning strike to Protest the abduction of their colleague Dr Popoola Ganiyat who has been in captivity for over eight months.
The Decision by the Resident Doctors to embark on a warning strike was taken during an emergency National Executive council meeting held on Sunday Night.
Doctor Ganiyat Popoola until her abduction 27th of December 2023 along side her Nephew worked at the national high center in kaduna.

Before the warning strike on Monday 26th Of August,the Doctors had embarked on a solidarity walk a week ago to demand the release of their colleague.
