The Commissioner of Police, Special Fraud Unit, Lagos, Margaret Ochalla, has reacted to the rise in fraud cases currently being experienced by residents.
Ochalla, newly deployed to head the unit, spoke in reference to the cases of a syndicate who defrauded some citizens around Ejigbo axis of the state and two others arrested by the Zone Two Police Command for hacking into bank accounts of about a thousand Nigerians, reaffirming the command’s commitment to prosecuting those involved in the fraudulent activities.

Ochalla also spoke on synergy with relevant bodies to ensure cases of fraud are reduced to it’s barest minimum in the state.
Ochalla who is the twenty ninth commissioner of Police, Special Fraud Unit, Lagos, equally promised to formulate vision and strategy to reposition the unit in continuation of ongoing moves by the unit to actualise its mandate.
