The Lagos State judicial panel on restitution for victims of SARS related abuses and other related matters is eventually sitting on Tuesday after a 2-hour wait for the arrival of counsel to the police.
It’s the 36th day of the panel sitting which started about 3 months ago. Unlike when the panel sitting started, when the court was filled to capacity, only a few people are seated.

Forensic experts hired by the Lagos state government to investigate the shooting of EndSARS protesters at the Lekki toll gate by soldiers in October, 2020, are expected to submit the report of the forensic examination to the panel.
The experts were hired to specifically examine the incident scene to ascertain if soldiers actually used live bullets on protesting youths or not following claims by the army that it only fired blank bullets.
