Late Army General, Jeremiah Useni buried in his home town, Langtang North, plateau state

Late LT. Gen. Jeremiah Useni

The body of late LT. Gen. Jeremiah Useni has been committed to mother earth in his hometown, Langtang North Plateau State, North Central Nigeria after week long burial activities.

The late LT. Gen. Dr. Jeremiah Useni Timbut, Sardauna Plateau and Nasarawa states, died on Thursday January 23, 2025, aged 82 years.

Langtang town in Plateau State, North Central Nigeria is popularly known as the home of ‘generals’ obviously because of the high number of Military Generals it has produced.

It is the final resting place for Late LT. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni.

The guest preacher during the funeral service, Bishop Josiah Fearon advised both the political and Religions leaders in Nigeria to promote peace and unity among Nigerians.

The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang says late General Jeremiah Useni’s life of impact has improved stability and development across Nigeria hence the need for emulating the large heart of the late Army General.

High point of the event was the lowering of the body of late LT. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni to mother earth after a 21-gun military salute.

Most of the guests noted that the funeral service of late General Jeremiah Useni has opened another chapter of discussion in Tarok Land, with Tarok sons and Daughters appealing to relevant authorities to help in addressing all noticeable challenging issues in Tarok land in honour and memory of late LT. Gen. Jeremiah Timbut Useni.
