The remains of one-time Nigeria’s defence minister General Domkat Bali has finally been laid to rest amid controversies that had surrounded where and how he should be buried.
The chief of Defence Staff General Abayomi Olanisakin described the late Bali as one who fought for the peace and unity of the country.
The corpse of General Domkat Bali arrived the COCIN headquarter church in Jos at about ten thirty am where family members,friends and well wishers gathered to pay their last respect to the man considered to have committed himself to the peace and development of the nation.
The chief of Defence Staff who represented President Muhammadu Buhari said the legacies of late General Bali will remain for a long time.

Wife and children of the deceased described their father as a gentleman who played his role well.
Plateau state governor, Simeon Lalong appealed to his citizens to emulate the late General who was known to have toed the path of peace
Late General Bali was finally laid to rest at his home place, Langtang north local government area of Plateau state.
The Nigerian Army was well represented as they pay their last respect to one of their own.
