Late Janet Weli buried In Her Hometown Elelewon

The body of late Janet Weli, mother inlaw of Mboh of Ogba land Shedrack Akoloku, has been laid to rest in her hometown Elelewon, in Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers State, South South Nigeria.

The children and family members of the deceased described their mother as a woman with many parts who positively impacted the lives of those who encountered her during her life time.

Large gathering of family members, friends, and other sympathisers from far and near for the funeral procession of the late Madam Janet Weli. The procession began with a lying in state in her hometown, Elelewon in Obio Akpor local government area of Rivers State.

Activities then proceeded to the Saints Mark Anglican Church, Elelewon, where she had worshiped devotedly throughout her life.

During the church service, the officiating minister encouraged the congregation to emulate the late Madam Weli’s exemplary service to humanity and God by living life in accordance with the Word of God.

Late Weli’s children and her son-in-law, Shedrack Akalokwu, the mboh of ogbaland paid glowing tributes to her, describing her as a woman of many virtues who lived a fulfilled life.

Other dignitaries from far and wide, including the acting CEO of Daar Communications Plc and representatives from the Oba of Ogba land, Nnam Obi the third, shared their thoughts about late madam Janet Weli

Until her passing at the age of 98, Madam Weli was a devout member of the Saints Mark Anglican Church, Elelewon, and lived a life that was truly worthy of celebration
