Late Keren Akpagher: Coalition of gender based violence says autopsy confirms rape, sodomy

Coalition of gender-based violence has disclosed that the late Premiere Academy student, Keren Akpagher’s post-mortem examination confirmed that she was raped and brutally sodomised by her abuser.

Speaking at a media conference in Abuja, the convener of the gender Rights group Lemmy Ughegbe said the report serves as victory for the late 9 year old student as no amount of propaganda by premiere academy in Lugbe, Abuja will conceal the truth.

The group commended the inspector general of police for granting its request to transfer the case from the Federal Capital Territory to a unit under the police chief’s office.

The family of Keren and the coalition pledged their readiness to cooperate with the Homicide Department of the Force Headquarters and support it with credible intelligence regarding the matter.

The late Keren-Happuch Akpagher, a junior boarding secondary school student with premiere academy was said to be sexually abused and sodomised over 3 months ago while in school which later led to her untimely death.
