The family of late Rotimi Akeredolu, has released the burial arrangements of the former Governor of Ondo State, South West of Nigeria, who died in office
The burial arrangements was made known in a statement on Monday, entitled “Celebration of Remarkable Life”, and signed by Rotimi Akeredolu, Jnr.
The week long burial events will commence with a Winning Crusade in Akure on February 15, 2024 and then other series of programmes including; Night of tributes, Special Court Session and Commendation service to be held in Ibadan, Oyo State.
The body of late Governor Akeredolu is expected to arrive Ondo State for Lying in state and Commendation service on Wednesday, February 21 while Thursday February 22, 2024 would be for Wake and Service of songs.
The statement further said the Funeral Service will hold on Friday, February 23, 2024 at St. Andrews Church, Owo while Interment follows immediately.
