The Member representing Zango Kataf and Jaba Federal Constituency, Amos Gwamna, has urged the federal government to urgently complete the bridge across River Kaduna in Zango Kataf LGA.
The bridge connects several crisis-prone communities Kigudu, Kampani, Chibob, and Sabon Kaura, affected by years of bandit attacks.
In an interview with AIT News, Gwamna said the bridge would help security forces respond swiftly to emergencies in the area.
He also noted that completing the bridge would boost farming activities and promote irrigation, contributing to economic growth.
Gwamna lamented that the absence of a bridge and poor road connectivity has cost lives and property, calling on the government to take immediate action.
