The 45-year-old took to his social media page on Wednesday to announce the end of his career one year after reversing his decision to leave the NFL.
The former New England Patriot who is noted for throwing 4,694 yards and 25 touchdowns in the 2022 regular season was linked with several teams after it was rumoured he was due to enter free agency.

The record-breaking player won 251 regular season games, 5 playoff games more than any player, and is noted as the league’s all-time regular-season leader in pass attempts (12,050), completions (7,753), passing yards (89,214), and touchdown passes (649).
He also owns all those records for the post-season.
The California native ended his final season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers losing 31-14 to Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card playoffs.
