Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule has advised youths in the state not to involve themselves in any form of violence capable of disrupting the electoral process as the State prepares to conduct local government election.

The governor who spoke during a Town Hall meeting organized by youths group expressed concern on how young Nigerians in the state allow themselves to be used by greedy politicians during elections.



The governor expressed concern over the increase in insecurity across the country which is mainly carried out by youths.

He said with the conduct of free and credible elections he is sure of getting good leaders as Councilors and chairmen in the 147 wards and across the 13 LGAs of the state.

Shuaibu Sani, the speaker youth assembly of Nigeria , thanked the Governor for all he has been doing for the youths in the state since his election in 2019.
He explained that the reason for organizing the Town Hall meeting was to sensitise voters and especially youths to ensure that they eschew all forms of violence before during and after the local government elections.
