LMC bans fans from Muhammadu Dikko stadium Katsina over violence

The League Management Company LMC has banned football supporters in Katsina from watching all Katsina United Fotball Club home matches following the security breaches from home fans for verbally assaulting members of Katsina United officials.

This was contained in a letter sent to the Club Chairman Prince Abdulsamad Badaamasi dated 17 January 2022 and made available to newsmen by the Media Officer of the club, Nasir Gide.

According to the letter the LMC decided to take the disciplinary action following a report from match officials during the home game in match Day 5 between Katsina United FC and Gombe United FC.

The letter added that,the ban will not be lifted until security arrangements at home matches are put in place to ensure the safety of the teams, match officials and fans in future matches.
