Twelve bodies have been recovered by volunteer divers from a boat mishap in River Zumba in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State, North-Central Nigeria.
The local divers have been intensifying efforts in the search and rescue mission, to recover the bodies.
The boat mishap had occurred on Thursday last week.

According to the boat driver, Salis Sabo, the victims were fleeing from terrorist attacks in their village when the unfortunate incident occurred.
Sabo added that the exact number of passengers who boarded the boat to the Chiri community in Shiroro Local Government Area can not be ascertained.
