Saint Peter’s Grammar School Field in Agenebode, Etsako East Local Government Area, the venue for the maiden edition of the Raymond Dokpesi Memorial Football Tournament for both male and female categories, was electrified, when Moscow Football Club of Auchi took on Otuo United Football Club of Owan East Local Government Area.
The boys from Etsako scored two first-half goals, while their counterpart from Owan reduced their deficit by one with the last kick of the first half.
At the resumption of the second half, Moscow Football Club doubled their lead with a well-converted free kick.
The Otuo boys pulled one back in the closing stages of the match, and it ended 3 goals to 2, in favour of the Moscow Football Club of Auchi.
At the end of the game, players and coaches commended the organisers of the tournament.
The late Chief Raymond Dokpesi Memorial Football Tournament is sponsored by the Executive Chairman of Etsako East Local Government Area, Benedicta Attoh.
