The scheduled arraignment of former Minister of Petroleum, Dan Etete, Aliyu Abubakar, and 6 others, was stalled following the inability of the prosecution to serve two out of the eight defendants.
When the matter came up on Wednesday, the prosecution counsel, Bala Sanga, informed the court that two out of the eight defendants denied ownership of the company’s listed in the charge sheet, despite documents from the Corporate Affairs Commission, CAC, confirming their ownership.
