An explosion from Osadebe gas plant in Agbor, Delta State has left many people dead and several others sustaining various degrees of burns.
The incident occurred Friday evening close to an eye clinic along the expressway with fire from the explosion engulfing several buildings. The cause of the explosion is yet to be ascertained by the authorities.

As at the time of this report, the State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa was on his way to the scene for on-the-spot assessment of destruction caused by the explosion.
