Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade has inaugurated the transition Committee to pilot the smooth handover of power to the incoming Governor of the state.
The Committee headed by experienced Politician and Technocrat, Asuquo Ekpenyong Snr. will work closely with Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba Inauguration Committee and other sub-committees to achieve set goals.

Speaking during the inauguration of the committee in Government House, Calabar, Ayade charged them to work with all MDAs to get useful information that will help the incoming government take off smoothly.
He said the committee will also get details of his eight-year Government of Cross River State, including its assets and liabilities.
On his part, the Chairman of the Transition Committee, Asuquo Ekpenyong Snr., assured that his experience alongside other members of the committee will be brought to bear to get the desired results within the given timeframe.
Other Members of the Transition Committee include Former Secretary to the State Government, Fidelis Ugbo as Secretary, Senator John Owan Enoh, and Akin Rickets as members while Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba Chairs the Inauguration Committee.
