Media Executive in Nigeria has appealed to members of the National Assembly to reverse the decision made before they went on annual legislative recess on the full digitisation of the electoral process.
Speaking at the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC’s third quarterly meeting with Media Executives in Abuja, the president of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Chris Isiguzo said the embracement of full electronic electoral process will install Nigerians’ full confidence on the umpire.
The chairman of the commission, Mahmood Yakubu promised to ensure that all the processes needed for electronic transmission will run smoothly without hitch and promised the media to continue to work closely for transparent reportage.

Over 25 media houses were represented at the quarterly meeting aimed at briefing the fourth estate realm on the preparation for the Anambra and 2023 general elections.
