The Organized Labour Unions in Kwara State have rejected another round of workers’ verification and audit by the State Government.
The labour leaders under the aegis of Joint Kwara Labour Congress disclosed this while briefing ait.live in Ilorin, the state capital, on Wednesday.
They described the verification exercise at the eleventh hour as needless and uncalled for.
The labour leaders also announced the rejection of the verification exercise until the issue of 30,000 minimum wage Naira is properly addressed.

It will be recalled that the state labour unions had earlier issued a 14-day ultimatum to the State Government with respect to the issue of minimum wage implementation which is less than five days to its expiration.
