The Nigerian Government has appealed to residents of Gombe State and environs to take responsibility of all Federal government projects and ensure full utilization to their benefit.
Minister of State for Regional Development, Alh Uba Maigari Ahmadu made this call while inaugurating projects completed by the North East Development Commission as well as the inspection of several ongoing projects spread across the State.
The tour took the Federal government delegation with officials of the State government and the North East Development Commission are on tour to different communities to handover completed projects and to have on the spot assessment of level of work at other project sites.
While handing over projects, the Minister of Regional Development said proper utilization of such facilities would ensure health care delivery, expand educational infrastructure and welfare for the people.
A major takeaway at the event was the strong promise of funding for the Mega Schools in the State.
The Gombe State government on their part expressed appreciation for the various interventions by the Federal government through the North East Development Commission (NEDC).
Officials of the North East Development Commission told the people that the quality of the projects met required standards and were completed within schedule.
The two day tour had taken the delegation to the projects in all the sectors in the State as well as projects sites at the Federal Teaching Hospital in the State.
