The Minister of Youth Development, Ayodele Olawande, has commended Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, for his administration’s commitment to infrastructural development across the state.
According to the minister, the ongoing projects are people-oriented and are already making positive impact at the grassroots level.
The minister, who joined the Governor on an inspection tour of several projects in Benin City, described Governor Okpebholo’s approach as focused and transformational
Projects inspected include the ongoing Temboga Road and Uteh Palace Road, the flyover at the popular Ramat Park, the gully erosion control site at Obaseki Street, Ikpoba Hill, as well as the ongoing second flyover at Adesuwa Junction along Sapele Road, Etete Road, among others.

Speaking during the tour, the Minister of Youth Development said that despite criticisms from some quarters, Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, remains focused and determined to deliver sustainable development to the people of the state
Governor Okpebholo thanked the Minister of Youth Development for joining the inspection exercise and reassured Edo people that his practical and people-centred approach to governance will continue to drive development across the state.
The Governor used the opportunity to caution contractors to ensure timely completion of projects while maintaining approved standards and quality.
The governor continues to receive warm receptions across Edo State, as residents troop out during his visits to express appreciation, offer prayers, and commend his administration for the ongoing infrastructure projects.
