The House of Representatives Minority Caucus has described the sudden death of member representing Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency of Edo State, Jude Ise-Idehen as shocking.
The caucus in a statement by its Leader, Ndudi Elumelu said Nigeria has lost a patriot, a vibrant and selfless legislator who remained steadfast in his commitment towards the unity, stability and development of the country.
The statement further described Jude Ise-Idehen as a humble, peaceful, dedicated, hardworking and remarkably focused lawmaker who loved Nigerians and stood for the rights and interest of the people.
The Minority Caucus in the statement commiserated with his family, the people of Egor/Ikpoba-Okha Federal Constituency as well as the Government and people of Edo State.
The death of the lawmaker was confirmed late Friday by the spokesperson of the House of Representatives, Benjamin Kalu.
