The 72nd edition of the Miss Universe Beauty Pageant went down live at the José Adolfo Pineda Arena in San Salvador, El Salvador on Saturday November 18th 2023.
The beauty contest saw 23-year-old Nicaraguan model beauty queen Sheynnis Palacios crowned winner of the Miss Universe 2023 title; she succeeded United States R’Bonney Nola Gabriel who won in 2022.
Sheynnis Palacios slugged it out with 83 other beauty queens to emerge winner and the first model from Nicaragua to win the Miss Universe title.

The Miss Universe Organisation took to its “X” account to laud Sheynnis’ feat noting; her goal in life is to work in the service of humanity, by running a newsroom and producing content and commercials for international brands.
