Amid news of the Vice-Presidential Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party and Governor of Delta State Senator Ifeanyi Okowa of joining the league of candidates with burden of proof of certificates, the man in the eye of the storm Governor Okowa flaunts his credentials and described the peddlers as misconceived individuals that play politics in any slightest opportunity.

Governor Okowa who clarified the true picture of his West African School Certificate (WASC) while Fielding questions from journalist after inspecting ongoing projects at Delta State University of Science and Technology, Ozoro in Isoko North Local Government Area said although he lost his Certificate, he still has a print-out of it from Edo College which clearly stated all that are required

Okowa who said his outstanding performance in WAEC made him to be a bride being sort after by the country’s Universities and wondered why people out of politics try to make something out of nothing

The governor used the occassion to call on the Federal government to urgently attend to the issues of ASUU strike for good of the students, parents and education in general adding that his government made it a point of duty to keep to its promises a reason he said made lectures in the state University to be in session in the face of the nationwide ASUU strike.
