The mother of the late former President Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Dada Habiba Yar’adua has died at the age of 102 in Katsina.
Born on January 31, 1922, the late Dada was a proud mother of the former President
Umaru Musa Yar’adua, Vice President Shehu
Musa Yar’Adua, a Minister and a Governor, as well as serving Senator Abdulazeez Yar’adua, representing Katsina Central at the National Assembly.
She was also a proud mother of 3 daughters who were wives of 3 different former governors of Katsina, Ibrahim Shema, Bauchi, former Governor Isa Yuguda and former Kebbi Governor Dakin Gari.
She will be buried on September 3 at the family compound of Matawallen Musa Yar’adua at about 1.30 pm according to Islamic rites.
