Gombe State Government has intensified its immunisation drive by including cash incentives to lure women in the communities to come and vaccinate their new born and children.
The drive named “All Babies Are Equal, ABAE” in collaboration with New Incentives offers financial support to encourage the vaccination of children and combat vaccine-preventable diseases.
This initiative welcomes nursing mothers and care givers to be part of the immunisation of their babies for cash rewards.

According to Coordinator of the programme which began in 98 health facilities in the state, it has been expanded to 6,000 health facilities across the state
The State Government says It will do more to encourage immunisation of new born children in the state.
For the grateful beneficiaries, the cash for immunisation is a welcome development.
