The last two days in Kano have been hectic for motorists who now have to queue for hours to fuel their vehicles, as only a few petrol stations are open for business.

While lamenting over the development that has forced many to park their vehicles, the residents said the fuel is available in most stations but is being hoarded to create artificial scarcity.

Some of the motorists also called on the Federal Government to urgently fix the country’s refineries.

Some of the fuel stations monitored, showed that a litre of fuel is still sold between162 and 165 Naira.
