The National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas has denied the viral news of ace Nollywood actor and film producer, Zack Orji’s death.
News filtered in on social media that the ailing actor died at an undisclosed hospital on Monday night in Abuja, which Rollas described as mischievous and wicked.
He said, “Mr. Zack Orji is alive 100%. Please ignore the mischief makers who enjoy circulating fake news. This is to show how wicked some people can be. It is totally unacceptable.”
Meanwhile, Nollywood actress, Rita Edochie has appealed to the public to desist from questioning the death of movie stars, noting that death is just a displeasing call of nature that comes knocking which cannot be avoided.
Rita took to her Instagram page @ritaedochie to express dissatisfaction with the use of words such as “What is happening in Nollywood?”.
She posted: “Celebrities are humans as well, the same way other people in different walks of life die, that is the same way celebrities die too.”
