Timileyin Ajayi, the 32 year old man accused of killing and dismembering a female youth corps member, Salome Adaidu in Nasarawa State says now said he is not guilty of the murder.
Ajayi said this during hearing of the case before a high court in Lafia this Monday.
Earlier today, Timileyin Ajayi pleaded guilty to the murder, before Justice Simon Aboki of the Nasarawa State high court, but after consultations with his lawyer he pleaded not guilty.

On the 10th march 2025, the state government took over the prosecution of the case and brought in court 4 witnesses at the commencement of the hearing.
