A south west group, Yoruba youths council has rejected the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressives Congress vice presidential candidate, Kashim Shettima for the 2023 general elections.
The group, at a protest staged in Abuja to press forward their demand said even though The ruling party’s presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu is from the region and a muslim, the Yoruba youths will not support any action that would keep threatening the unity of the country.
The young Nigerians noted that the country does not need such a pair at this time when insecurity and separatism seem to be gradually taken center stage in the country as well as for the 2023 general elections.

Since the unveiling of the Borno state former governor kashim Shettima few weeks back as the vice presidential running mate to the former governor of lagos state, Bola Ahmed tinubu, many Nigerians, groups especially the Christian association of Nigeria, CAN have all come out to reject the ruling party’s Muslim-Muslim ticket.
