The sum of over N16 million has disbursed to 25 families of police officers of the Kebbi State command who died in active service

State Police Commissioner, Bello Sani who presented cheques, under the Group Life Assurance and the Inspector General of Police Family Welfare Schemes, said the gesture reflected the determination of the Inspector-General of Police, Kayode Egbetokun to the welfare of Police personnel and their families.

He encouraged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the funds in supporting the education and overall well-being of their households.

Abbas Ibrahim, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries, expressed gratitude to the Inspector-General of Police for the financial support, saying it will go a long way in cushioning the effect of the loss of their loved ones.
