Bauchi State Governor, Bala Mohammed, has linked the alleged money laundering and terrorism allegations against his administration by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to pressure on him to defect to the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
The governor maintained that he has no intention of leaving the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), insisting that he would remain in the opposition despite what he described as political intimidation.
Governor Mohammed spoke shortly after receiving an Ambassadorial Award of Safety at the State Executive Council Chamber, Government House, Bauchi, on Wednesday.
