Kano State Governor, Abba Yusuf, has signed the 2024 Supplementary Budget of over N99 billion into law, following its passage by the Kano State House of Assembly.
The Supplementary Budget aims to complement the earlier approved 2024 budget of over N437 billion bringing the total budget for 2024 to over N500 billion.

According to the Commissioner of Information, Baba Dantiye in a statement made available to reporters on Friday, the Supplementary Budget addresses the need for the State to implement the new National Minimum Wage as it was not captured in the earlier budget presented last year.
