In his welcome address, the Air Officer Commanding Ground Training Command, Air Vice Marshal Ibikunle Daramola, said the Special Forces Training became critical to the Nigerian Air Force, considering the present threat to national security, thereby undermining the economic growth and development of the country.

The Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Isiyaka Amao, represented by the Chief of Training and Operations, Air Vice Marshal Auwal Bello, commended the personnel for their doggedness in ensuring that they pass through all the rigorous exercises, attached to the training, calling on them to use the skills and knowledge acquired, in combating the ongoing fight against insecurity, bedevilling the country.
