Nigeria’s President Bola Tinubu has pledged to invest substantially in the equipment of the Nigerian Air Force to boost its air capabilities in defending the territorial integrity of the nation.

President Tinubu made the pledge during the ceremonial parade and aerial display marking the Nigerian Air Force’s 60th anniversary.

It was a day of pride and pageantry at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna as the 60th anniversary celebrations took place.

The skies over the base were filled with the roar of jet engines and the sight of expertly executed maneuvers, showcasing the skill and precision of the Air Force personnel and honoring six decades of their service to the nation.

President Bola Tinubu, addressing the gathered dignitaries and military personnel through his Vice President, Kashim Shettima, congratulated NAF for attaining this significant milestone.

He reaffirmed that the federal government will invest substantially to boost the nation’s air capabilities, ensuring that NAF remains formidable and well-equipped to meet any challenges.

Dignitaries present expressed confidence in the Nigerian Air Force’s ability to discharge their responsibilities effectively.

The Nigerian Air Force also honored 39 Air Vice Marshals and Air Commodores of Regular Course 37 and 38, flying them out of service to recognize their dedication to the nation.
