The Director-General of the National Agency for Food, Drugs Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Professor Christiana Adeyeye, has described the invasion of the zonal office of the agency in Kaduna by hoodlums as reckless.
Professor Adeyeye who was in Kaduna to assess the level of destructions by the hoodlums said, NAFDAC will not be deterred, despite the destruction, in caring out its responsibilities.
The Director General stated this when he visited the facility in Kaduna to assess the level of destruction by the hoodlums at the zonal office of the agency.
According to her, the unwholesome act exhibited by the hoodlums, is a way to destroy the nation.
The Director General also appealed to the public to beware of consuming drugs that could have been carted away by the hoodlums, during the invasion.
No arrest has been made, following the invasion by the hoodlums in Kaduna.
