The National Agency For Foods Drugs Administration And Control NAFDAC has advised Consumers of Indomie Noodles to exercise caution and report sales of the recalled batch of the product by French Authority to their nearest office.
The Agency in a press release dated 21st of December 2025 said it is aware of the recall of Indomie Noodles vegetable flavour by the French Authority on account of the presence of undeclared allergens, specifically milk and eggs which may pose significant health risk to Consumers with allergies or intolerance.
While the agency has taken appropriate proactive measures to prevent the spread of the particular product in Nigeria,the director General Professor Mojisola Adeyeye noted that noodles are listed on the import prohibition list of the federal Government of Nigeria, meaning that indomie and other brands of noodles registered by NAFDAC and manufactured locally are allowed for sales and consumption in Nigeria
