IN order to enhance Air safety by ensuring that Nigeria’s skies remain on high safe standards, the Federal Government has been urged to consider the reversal of the over 50 percent deductions made from the Internally Generated Revenue (IGR) of the Nigerian Air Safety Management Agency. (NASMA).
This is coming from the Director-General of the Agency, Ahmed Farouk at a Media briefing in Abuja on Thursday, stating that the prolonged deduction is having a negative impact on the Agency’s performance.
NAMA urged all stakeholders to support the necessary changes for the future of the country’s aviation sector and the safety of the flying public, as the matter of Air safety remains sacrosanct owing that there’s no “parking space” in the sky.
