Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule has been honoured with a Platinum Award and unveiled as Education Ambassador by the Independent Newspaper in recognition of his administration’s contribution to educational development in the state.
The award was presented by the State Commissioner for Education, Dr. John Mamman, during the State Executive Council meeting in Lafia, the state capital.
It was a moment of honour and pride for Nasarawa State as Governor Abdullahi Sule was presented with the Platinum Award, and named Education Ambassador, by the Independent Newspaper as it marks its platinum jubilee anniversary in Lagos.
The Nasarawa State Commissioner for Education, John Mamman, who attended the event, presented the award to the Governor at the State Executive Council meeting in Lafia.

Governor Sule, who dedicated the award to members of the executive council, described it as a collective accomplishment that underscores the teamwork propelling educational advancement in the state.
Thr Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Ibrahim Addra, described the recognition as a testament to the Governor’s leadership excellence and commitment to human capital development and other sector like agriculture.
Ibrahim Addra noted that the administration’s support through fertilizer distribution, tractor provision, and farmer empowerment has made Nasarawa one of the major suppliers to the Olam Rice Factory, a feat that underscores the Governor’s vision for food security and job creation.
