Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule, says there is a need for Nigerian graduates to acquire technical, vocational and entrepreneurial skills to secure there self-reliance.
Governor Sule made the point in his comments during the commissioning of the National Youth Service skill acquisition and entrepreneurship development centre, at the NYSC Orientation Camp in Keffi.
The governor commended the NYSC director general and management for siting the project in Nasarawa State and promised that his administration would not only patronise products from the centre, but also seek other areas of collaboration with the NYSC.
He acknowledged the high turnout of graduates from institutions of higher learning across the country, a situation he says makes it imperative for tertiary institution graduates to not only acquire degrees, but skills to make them employers of labour in the long run
