The Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule is promising to build more Primary Healthcare Centres in the Local Government Areas so as to meet the increasing medical needs of the population
Sule said this during the medical and surgical Outreaches in Nasarawa, Kokona, Akwanga, Wamba, Nasarawa Eggon and Karu Local Government Areas of the State

Speaking at one of the Outreaches, Governor Sule commended The director general National primary healthcare development Agency Dr Faisal Shu’aibu for the initiative aimed at taking care of people who cannot afford medical bills despite their health challenges.

The program he adds will help in strengthening the health system, increasing access, and improving the quality of integrated primary healthcare services.
The governor also promised to build more Primary Healthcare Centres in the LGAs to meet the increasing health needs of the population as the existing ones are overstretched

The Executive Director of NPHDA, Dr Faisal Shiaibu, explained that the outreach will improve the livelihood of people in the area and the state at large.
Dr Shiaibu explained that the state government under Abdullahi Sule has done a lot to improve access and the health of the people. Over 200 thousand people were targeted for treatment across the state.
Faisal while calling for the re-election of Governor Abdullahi Sule said the state government under him had introduced State Health Insurance Scheme, expanded and equipped Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, DASH, Lafia, and also equipped General Hospitals across the state.
