Nasarawa Governor on condolence visit to Akwanga rescues victims of multiple road crash

Eight persons who would have died as a result of multiple road crash were lucky as they received prompt care from the convoy of the Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule.

The Governor who was on his way to pay a condolence visit to the family of late Minister of Employment and Productivity, Hussain Akwanga could however not save 11 other passengers as they died on the spot due to the accident.

The multiple accident which occured along the Lafia-Akwanga section of the Abuja-Makurdi Highway involved five vehicles. The accident was said to have occured after attempts to escape an oncoming trailer that lost control.

The Governor who was coincidentally enroute akwanga showed kindness by stopping his convoy at the scene of the incident.

The Governor ordered his ambulance to immediately move eight accident victims to the hospital while eleven bodies were also taken to the Akwanga General Hospital.

In Akwanga, the Governor condoled with the family of the late Hussaini Akwanga, the Chun Mada, His Royal Highness, Samson Gamu Yare, the Sarkin Gudi, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Sule Bawa who was a close friend of the deceased and people of the state, over the loss of the illustrious son, teacher and technocrat.

He prayed for Allah to grant the late Minister Jannatul Firdaus.
