Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi Sule says his administration is happy and appreciates the Federal government ‘s approval of the conversion of the Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital Lafia to the Federal University of Lafia Teaching Hospital.
Governor Sule made this known on the sidelines of the State Executive Council meeting held in the state capital, Lafia
President Bola Tinubu, through his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale on Wednesday, August 21, announced the takeover and conversion of the medical facility following the request by the Nasarawa State Government.
Governor Sule said from the day the request was made, President Tinubu activated the necessary machinery in to ensure the Federal University Of Lafia Teaching Hospital becomes a reality.

The governor also acknowledged the role played by other key players in the state in making the teaching hospital dream a reality.
Members of the state executive Council after their meeting, gave journalists an insight into what was discussed and other key issues for the state .
They unanimously agreed that the teaching hospital, will facilitate the training of more doctors and other medical personnel from in and around the state.
