Nasarawa State Independent Electoral Commission (NASIEC) has declared the 13 chairmanship candidates of the All Progressives Congress (APC) winners of the November 2 Local Government Election in the state.
Chairman of the commission and returning officer Ayuba Wandai made the declaration at the commission’s office in Lafia.
Councillorship candidates of APC won 140 out of 147 councillorship seats.
The candidates of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) won 5 seats, while Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) won two seats.
Fourteen political parties participated in the election.
