The organized Labour in Nasarawa state has called off its three weeks old strike over a poor welfare package by the state government.
The state labour unions also settled with the state government over the implementation of N30, 000 minimum wage in the state.
Yusuf Iya, Chairman of NLC in the state, said this during a joint meeting with the state government to sign an agreement on issues to meet workers demands in the state.
Nasarawa state Governor Abdullahi Sule, commissioner of Justice Abdulkarim Kana and Aliyu Wadada a concerned key player spoke on the need for all actors to be on the same page for the prosperity of Nasarawa state.

The worker’s grievances that led to the strike include partial implementation of the new National minimum wage without recourse to due process of collective bargaining, lack of implementation of promotions, lack of annual increments among others.
